What the quote means to me:

Everyone compliments me by bashing on themselves. I'll take the compliment, but I hate it when people bash themselves. I mean, you may think I was born with some divine artistic skill or something, but honestly... I wasn't. We're all born with two hands (maybe O n O) and we can damn well do whatever with those hands. Paired with our devotion, creativity, and built-on talent we get better. No one can be born with a talent like art. It had to be built somewhere, it had to start, it had to have ups and downs. Everyone sucked at some point, and depending on your devotion, everyone will be awesome at some point.
